The Process

After you pick which session suits you best, let’s choose a location! If you have any specific sites in mind, I’d love to hear them! If you’re not sure where would be best for the vibe you’re after, I’m happy to toss around ideas with you. If shooting indoors (your home, your studio?) a space with natural light options is ideal but not a deal breaker. If shooting outdoors, urban areas tend to work better unless your business pursuits don’t thematically fit in that environment. Travel within the Twin Cities metro is already included; distances further afield may incur a travel fee. I’d also encourage you to consider what 3 words you would want a potential client to associate with you + your mission + brand to help guide the look of our shoot!

Following our session, you will receive a link to your proofing gallery where you will be able to select your favorite images for editing + retouching. Retouching includes the modification of distracting background elements per KH discretion, and the softening of facial blemishes and under-eye shadows. As a general guideline, if it wasn’t there a week ago then it’s eligible for softening and/or removal. (Or altogether skipped, if that’s your preference!) Permanent features like scars, skin texture, and body shape are celebrated and only modified upon your specific request. Extensive requests may be subject to a digital art fee, quoted on an individual basis.

Once fully edited, your final images are delivered via a digital downloading platform in high resolution. Should you desire more poses beyond the included 12/25, you have the option to purchase more from your gallery at $25 an image. Upon delivery of your edits, usage rights are indefinitely yours! Proofing images will also be available for downloading at that time.

Fancy a few prints from your session? Your gallery will be synced to the professional lab I use in Minneapolis that will hook you up with some speedy and superb print options.
