Family Session Info!
For you and your fam, I have two different session options: a half and a full sized shoot. We’ll get a a mix of classic smiles-for-camera, with some natural interaction shots thrown in. The relationships you have between one another are the heart of what I want to capture, and candids are my jam!
Half Session

30 minutes of shooting
40-60+ images in your gallery

Ideal for younger kids, colder temps, compact locations, and short attention spans
Full Session
$650
1-2 locations
60 minutes of shooting
60-80+ images in your gallery
6 faves chosen for retouching
Ideal for older and/or larger families, elaborate concepts, spread out spots, and a slower pace
Sessions take place at a location of choice within the Twin Cities metro, within a 30 minute drive from my apartment in Saint Paul. I’m always happy to provide suggestions, whether we’re going for a scenic or a city vibe! If you have a spot further afield in mind, drop me a note and I’ll send a travel quote. Once we settle on a date and location, your session is locked in on my calendar.
Within a 3 week window following our shoot, a gallery link will be landing in your inbox. Here’s where your high resolution images will live, giving you options to view, download, print, and share. Images in this gallery will be edited to showcase optimal colors and natural skin tones, and as a bonus: you can select 3 or 6 faves from this set that you’d like a little extra retouching TLC for. (Typically these are the ones that will end up as featured framers in your home!) If you’d like retouching for more than 3/6 images, you have the option to purchase more at $25 per image, which can address anything from windblown hairs to head swaps to blemishes you might like softened.

Ready to set up a session?
Hooray! Once we settle on a date + time, the displayed rate is locked in, as prices are subject to change. For outdoor sessions, I prefer to shoot within the first or last few hours of daylight for the softest glow possible. For families with kiddos under 3 years of age, I’d suggest shooting outdoors in temps of 50 degrees and above (or making sure they’re layered up!), and/or including an indoor option to ensure happier, more comfortable kids.

Family FAQ
What age ranges do you work with?
I photograph kiddos of all ages, from newborns to high school seniors. My favorite window is 6 months to 6 years!
Can we bring our pets?
Absolutely, as long as it’s 3 or fewer animals. Please give me a heads up as all locations don’t allow for pets.
What if our child/ren are uncooperative during our shoot?
It’s normal for kiddos to not want to sit still and smile at the camera for every shot. We’ll keep things moving, invent some games, give tickles, and allow them to explore a bit. Having some small treats on hand (like Goldfish or marshmallows) tends to help, or a phone queued up with their favorite song for a dance break.
