All sessions are shot on-location in the greater Twin Cities metro. Not sure which location would be best? I’m more than happy to toss ideas around with you to match your style, your wardrobe, and your vision. Locations are limited to 1 for a Half Session, and up to 2 for a Full. Anywhere we can get on foot from our starting point counts as being 1.
For wardrobe, anything goes! I don’t put limits on number of changes, but I’d recommend sticking to 1-2 for a short session, and 2-4 for a longer one so we can maximize our shooting time. For ladies, I’d recommend choosing pants for at least 1 look so we can have a bigger range for posing. If you’d like a little nudge as far as what to wear, further diversifying your looks is always a safe bet. For example, one more casual and one more dressy. One colorful, one focused on neutrals. What to expect after our session:
Within a 3 week window, a fun little link will be arriving in your inbox! It will direct you to your proofing gallery where you’ll have the option to select either 7 or 15 images for specialized editing + retouching. Retouching includes blemish removal plus modification of distracting background elements per photographer discretion. Further retouching is available upon request (e.g. braces removal, digital ironing, fixing hair fly-aways) and is quoted on an individual basis depending on level of complexity. Permanent features like scars, skin texture, and body shape are celebrated, and only modified upon specific request.
Photos selected for retouching beyond the set 7/15 are available for individual purchase at $25 per pose. The remaining proofing images in your gallery that are not selected, will be delivered with light editing and no retouching as seen in your proofing gallery.
Interested in purchasing prints of your final portraits? There’s nothing better than holding your images in your hands. Your gallery will be synced to my pro lab in Minneapolis, with ordering facilitated directly through the downloading platform. Print prices start at $8 for a 4x6in photo.

Hooray! Once we settle on a date + time, the displayed rate is locked in, as prices are subject to change. I prefer to shoot the majority of outdoor sessions within the first or last few hours of daylight. Are there general days + times of the week that suit you best?
