Elegant Mayowood Stone Barn Wedding

Since shooting Mary and Christian’s Mayowood Stone Barn wedding in August, I’ve found my lips repeating This has got to be one of the most beautiful weddings ever! Ooh, my. Just you wait till you start to scroll!

But. I do want you to know that it runs so much deeper than a WOW, look at that wedding dress! The straps are removable! Or MAN, Fox & Fern really nails those florals every single time. While both sentiments may be true, all the wedding details come together to earn an aesthetic ace, it’s not where it ends, folks.

How I’ll really know that I’ve done my job in capturing Mary + Christian’s elegant wedding day at Mayowood Stone Barn? If you see with how much grace Mary carries herself. If it’s obvious how strong both of their family bonds are. If you can tell that Christian is the kind of guy that I found in honest reflection that morning, actively making space and seeking peace for the life changing day ahead. And does the respect M+C have for one another translate? Can you tell how truly hilarious the best man speech was, with reactions only a brother could provoke?

Or maybe if you can tell just one thing, I’ll know I did my job and I did it well— Can you see how madly in love these two are, with each other, and with life? And is it not the most beautiful thing ever?!
