What they asked for was movement.
What we got was pretty moving.
And it all makes sense, doesn't it?
Andrew and Nastassja are the team that makes up Olson Film. They're fellow wedding industry pros and incredible artists in every medium they work in. (See also: Andrew and his crew made the tables, Nastassja designed all graphics, and here's the quick link for a peek at their beautiful films.)
When we met on a Sunday afternoon for cocktails and the final wedding chat, the word that kept coming up was movement. It's one of the backbones of their video approach and a concept they connected to.
So what they asked for was movement.
And what we got was pretty moving.
The twirls, the laughs, the laughing at the twirls. The extra cheek kisses. The unasked for embraces. The hand holds that are only natural when you ask them to walk together through a patch of Wisconsin wildflowers. The big laughs. The big emotion in their eyes, asking them to get closer. A string of all the little in-betweens that live on either side of every movement. It's when the true A+N magic was present, when they were connected to the moment and connected to each other.
And I gotta say, this entire day in a little Wisconsin town surrounded by all this love, was pretty damn moving.
