There's something extra special about shooting a wedding for a couple that already has 3042 days of lovin' racked up.

It was black. Dramatic.
I had her pose in that dress with some overturned boats in an alleyway off Main Street.
Out of the hundreds of seniors I photographed at my old studio, she did and she has stuck out all these years later for being such a stylish + spunky + sweet package all rolled into one.

This time it was white. Still dramatic but in a more elegant, grown-up fashion. 

Any wedding that can boast unbeatable water views, countless strings of twinkling yellow lights, and a darling 2-year-old son as "ring bear," will assuredly make make your eyeballs wanna linger here long after you're done scrolling.

And that's just the beginning, friends.

I knew this one would be good.
(I mean, you remember their epic engagement session in the woods of Wisconsin, right?)

I spend a lot of time working on my images.
I let my mind wander while I edit.
And I take note of how I feel while I assemble every blog.
In all of this time, wandering, and note taking there's one thing in particular that stands out about this wedding—

She invited me in right away.

Can I just use this space as a place to spread out a few random thank yous?
No one stopping me?
Great.

You thought Minnesota nice was a thing? Sure, I suppose. But after this bash in the Evergreen State, I'm gonna say that Washington nice is the new step up.
