It was the perfect August day in Duluth.
Reeeeally.
As a personal amusement, I decided as I arrived at the lake that morning that I was going to keep count of how many times I overheard anyone express the same sentiment.
And what I got was three.
THREE!
(And I'll admit, the last one was someone agreeing with me as I tried to coax them into marveling.)

I've come to the conclusion after an evening at the park with Family M, that the dirtier the kids are at the end of the session, the better the shoot will be. 

The suspense of this has been killing me.

I've been asked several times if I get sick of shooting in the same location. If the familiar becomes boring and limits my creativity.
To which I respond gracious no, pal.
To which I'd show Cathleen and Alec's engagement session at my favorite park in the Cities.

You know, it's not quite right to assume that I only like to photograph the big belly laughs that appear throughout a wedding day. (And they always do appear, which is one of the things I like best about weddings—the joy.)
